I have two lots of carrots growing one lot in a upside down large compost bin, which are not covered and are not touched in any way these sem to be growing well, no thining will be done on these, no sign of fly.

My second lot of carrots are under a greenhouse tent bouht from lidi, these are also growing well bigger than the compost bin ones, I would like to take the cover off for 1 day for them to have a good watering in the rain.

If I do this on a rainy day do you think I will be alright from the fly no thining will be done.

    Thanks

Upside down ...Wow, how do you get the carrots to grow up!?

Evening is the best time to thin or water as their are less fly around....Think they go to bed early.
