cherry tomato colour

Is anyone growing 'Gartenperle' and Mr. Fothergill's 'F1 Tumbler' ?- both acquired through the magazine I think. I got mine mixed up at seedling stage so don't know which is which. One of them is ripening to a deep pink colour, while the other one is slightly bigger and a more traditional orangey red colour. I'd like to grow this one again so if anyone can help, that would be useful!

I've grew F1 Tumbler for the last 2 years and they are a traditional red colour (and I found with mine that the 'cherry' tomatoes can be quite big!). I'd say it's the F1 Tumbler that's your preference.

Also, I've no idea about the Gartenperle, but the Tumbler toms should be (as their name suggests) tumbling everywhere and are more like a hanging tomato (you'll probably tell me now that the Gartenperle is also a tumbling variety!!)

Gartenpole

My gartenpole are a pinky/red colour, definitely not the normal 'red'.

I've had five or six toms on my gartenperle plants make the transition from green, through pinky orangy to beautiful red.......and they are tumbling out of their hanging baskets....not helping am I!!!

My Gartenperle are definitely pink rather than red - thick skinned but very tasty!

I grow Gartenpearle every year.Mine are usually thin skinned! They only go deep red when going over ripe.They usually more pinky shade when picked.They are supposed to be bush variety but mine bush then trail all over the place!!!
