  • How often do you feed?

I've just put my tomatoes planted in the greenhouse how often do you feed?

Are you also feeding your potatoes that are in containers?

    Thanks

According to the instructions in the tomato food container is the best answer.

As for spuds, a handful of chicken pellets once a fortnight should do the job.

Tomatoes are normally fed once a week from flowering with a high potash feed. I also use a maxicrop seaweed foliar feed on a dull evening every three to four weeks.

I'd suggest you use blood fish and bone. Rather than chicken pellets (too high in nitrogen) for container potatoes, or better still, make some comfrey tea and dilute 1:10 for the job.

I agree with Paulottie: only feed when your Toms are flowering (ie forming fruit); once a week; liquid hi-potash feed, comfrey is ideal (once you acclimatise to the smell)
