We just used an old bit of hosepipe as the siphon, filling the pipe with water by holding it on the tap for a short time. It would be easier if you had a pump or something to get it going, but money was too tight for anything other than make do.

Lakeland has a little gadget for removing the water from your bath if anyone is interested in it: Doughtplug Water Recycling Kit - Lakeland, the home of creative kitchenware I haven't bought it yet, so I can't really comment on it.

However, as the weather is going at the moment - I shan't need to do it much just yet!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

The thingy from Lakeland looks good, especially as it will connect to a standard hose ( I need a long pipe to reach the patio). It might be a good idea to invest before I need it, in case they sell out. Lovely sunny day at the moment.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
