I have two tomatillos in the g/h, both about 45cm tall. A few days ago, one of them started looking a bit iffy. Some of the leaves were sort of 'puckered' and wilting. I took those leaves off and all seemed well. This morning it's the same again though, only worse! The same puckered wilting but now holes too. The other one was next to it and seems fine. I can't see any insects on it. New leaves have started to grow where I pulled off the icky ones. What could it be

Dreaded lurgie? I've never grown them but they do look a bit gross don't they. It looks like either physical attack by perp unknown (could they have been slugged/snailed?) or something splashed on the leaf which they don't like? Almost looks blistered doesn't it? I hope you come up with a non-terminal answer!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I haven't seen any insects near them but there have been a few whitefly around the tomatoes.... don't know if there is a connection...Lisa

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Thanks for having a look folks (not sure why you can't see the pics FHG ).
I'm a bit less bothered now though. I thought I only had two and that if I binned this one, they'd both be stuffed, as you need at least two to pollinate each other but - hooray! - I've found five more lurking at the back of the stagingI was feeling part of the scenery
