Hello,
I'm currently growing tomatoes (Sweet Million and Tumbler) in a polycarbonate mini greenhouse. The past few days have been really warm & sunny so I've put them outside during the day.
I was wondering when I can leave them outside all the time (it's getting a bit crowded in the greenhouse!)? I live in central Scotland so hoping the risk of frost is now gone!
Do I continue to put them outside during the day for the next week or two, then leave the lid of the greenhouse open at night for a week? (not sure exactly how to harden them off!) The problem is I also have a few aubergine and pepper plants in the mini greenhouse too, and I'm not sure if they would cope with the lid open overnight. What would happen if I just left the tomatoes out overnight without hardening off? Would they die, or just slow down a bit for the next wee while?
Hoping someone can help!
