I have just come in from my nightly slug hunt and I have only found fourteen slugs and three shelled snails. Only four of the slugs had made it on to a plant, but one of these was on one of my Calabrese Romanesco, so it was quartered, rather than halved. Most of the others were making there way to their chosen suppers, but, fingers crossed, I think I have the problem under control.

Everyone in the UK should kill at least 10 slugs a night for a week. We may then get half a chance at growing stuff without sharing it with them slimers.
