I like sorrel in salads and fancy trying sorrel soup. But what type do I need seed-wise? French seems good? Or are they all the same?

hi
i am growing buckler leaf sorrel and it is very good. The taste is hard to describe but a cross between lemon and apple peal could be accurate..? very good to add a bite to a salad. Grows well and the pests dont seem to bother it- although it is surrounded in coffee grounds- so the slugs are steering clear of this anyway.
i have let some go to seed and should have a constant supply forever..i hope.
wood sorrel grows wild in most damp woodland sites and also grows in shady corners of an alloment- it is great too- this is just the acid apple flavour.
but try everything and see what grows for you
