Morning folks,
Well, not a good day for me, not at all.
We have moved house about six days ago, along with lots of veg I have grown in pots. My OH promised to build me a proper greenhouse in the garden, but as the plot was not quite ready for it yet, I have got nice polytunnel made up instead to house my "babies" for now.
Yesterday we have been hit by the strongest wind ever, and as we are on top of the hill, it just torn the plastic to bits and killed most of my plants. The only thing that survived were some gooseberries and courgettes, as their pots were still in carton boxes. What a day
Anyhow, desperately need your advice - if I were to re-sow aubegines, tomatoes, peppers, peas, beans, etc, would it still be OK? While it is generally windy here most of the time, it is very hot up until September, and then quite warm till mid-November with plenty of daylight as well. Of course, this time nothing will be put outside till new greenhouse is done.
So what do you think, would it work or?
TIA
