Oh yes please - I'm hoping to get a new camera very soon so I can enter this year.

My pride and joy from last year - Vivaldi spuds - is still on my son's mobile and we still haven't got round to being able to offload to a PC. I'm growing again this year so if I submit it won't be last year's crop - honest guv!

Even though I didn't/was unable to submit I did enjoy seeing everyone's efforts on the site.

Could we also have a new category along the lines of 'joker in the pack' - for the rudest/quirkiest/animal-like fruit and veg? Will raise many a laugh on a dull day.

What is this Virtual Veg show cos as you know im fairly new to the Vine?
The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

Cloud - if you click on The Grapevine> at the top of the page and then select

Virtual Grow your own veg show 2007 (well something like that) - the category on its own at the top of the list on front page - you'll get some idea of what the folks here entered.

I am indeed most jealous of some of their very fine entries!

I would like to offer myself as judge, I consider myself a partial expert
Partial, as......... I haven't got any, but I've studied quite a few.

Thank you Shortie. Please persuade them to say yes. I don't think anybodies bothered about prizes - it's just the glory they're after
