Potato plants blowing over in the wind - advice pls

Hi folks

I am growing some Saxon 2nd earlies in compost bags they have been in for about 5 weeks but this morning the wind is blowing the plants over. They are about 2ft tall and I can see the beginnings of flower buds. Would hate to loss the plant at the stage.

How can I support the plant? Should I earth up some more? Stopped earthing up about 3 weeks ago?

Is the whole lot going over or just the haulms? If just the haulms then canes and string might help support them, if the whole lot, can you prop them up with something?

As long as the stems don't break off they will still keep growing no matter how much they fall over. I know they don't look tidy, but unless they are interfering with other plant I would just leave them.

The haulms are the green stems.

If the seed spud is quite deep in the soil there is not much to gain from earthing up further. The whole reason for earthing up is to ensure that the growing tubers are totally in the dark or they turn green.
