Cornichons when to pick/eat?

Thanks for going OTT (off the topic! ) LJ. They look interesting. I'll let you know if when they start cropping properly I get near 500! There are some interesting French recipes as well (fairly easy to translate with the help of google) � la fa�on de mon p�re

btw the fave French cornichon was AM�LIOR� DE BOURBONNE

Is it you or Jax thats into Luna planting? Lots of the French sites have info about it too. Here's a nice site - I can read the pictures!

I also bought some of those seeds from lidl, but I was quite late in finding them so my plants haven't started to flower yet so I'd be interested to know whet the answers are.
