  • yellowing cucumbers

I recently acquired a cucumber plant from a carboot sale and it is growing well inthe greenhouse. I have had 2 cucumbers from it so far which were very tasty but all new cucumbers (there are about 10 of them) seem to be yellowing after the flower fades.
I don't know the variety I'm afraid, but I think it is only producing female flowers and so self fertile (??). What can I do to prevent losing the rest of the crop?

I have it planted in a big pot and keep it well watered/fed.

I've got that problem with some of my plants and only some of the mini-cucumbers. All my cucumbers are in the same greenhouse (about 6 plants) and have had the same treatment, so not sure why it's only some of them. I am beginning to wonder if it's lack of shade or too much water. Any ideas, anyone?

I thought I was losing the plot but you asked this before...

Thanks Shirley. Am new here, so you've answered my problem. Think it's just a matter of over-watering, as they're in pots and I'm very thorough!
