Morning
I grow veg in pots and my parents' house as we don't have a garden or lotty at the moment.
Last week I ate my first harvest - a little salad with mixed salad leaves, some baby spinach, wild rocket and a couple of tiny radishes.
Last night I popped over to go out for a curry with them for my birthday, had a quick poke around in the garden/conservatory and it's all happening - my chillis are about to burst in flower, as is my sweet pepper, my dwarf runner beans are starting to climb and looks like the first flower is about to appear, and I've got two little green tomatoes on my tumbling toms in hanging baskets!!
The courgette looks very healthy, I repotted it last week, but it doesn't even seem to be thinking about flowering yet - hopefully it will catch up.
My carrots in tubs have gone crazy too, although I think it's all green and no carrot!
Spinach has bolted which is a shame
Wow, just typing that I hadn't realised quite how much we were growing there... can't wait to harvest more than salad. And it's much less hard work than the lotty was - they've only got a little courtyard so no digging!!
Just had to share my excitement!
