  • our first new spuds

Hi there everyone, it's been a very long time since my last post.

I hope everyone on this GYO forum is doing ok with their lotties.

We dug up our first crop of new spuds (swift) on the 6th June (planted 30th March)

From 4 plants we had more than enough small/med spuds for 2 of us for 3 good meals.

There was a little slug damage on a few, so were glad we checked them when we did.

Will be lifting more tomorrow 15th June. They were so scrummy.
