Oh, and I WISH I was able to eat an egg LadyPlod? Sadly, can't stand even the smell of an egg at forty paces..... but thankfully, CAN do eggs if hugely disguised with no sight or sound of them inbetweeny, sometimes. But I digress......
Today, Trousers and I are mostly harvested Courgettes again, which we simply adore. So Goody Goody GumDrops.
Picking fresh Coriander Leaves in the morning for Mrs. Happy Couple, then later, Bored Beans, Mint, Basil, and whatever it takes to make a Scrumptious Summer Bruschetta topping for Saturday evening nibbles with drinks before dinner (their treat this time, yum yum!)

Tonight - roast chicken with lots of old (and should be really tasty as that lovely wrinkly stage) spuds so roasting them with lots of garlic. Stir fry veggies - our own onion, garlic, mangetout, courgette, brocolli, baby carrots - all fresh, and some broad beans and cabbage from freezer.
And I have another box of mixed leaves today for lunch - must eat those now!!

you're making me jealous. I'm confined to the house, packing. I have to eat up the freezer, so tonight I'm having baked beans, broad beans, butter beans, sweetcorn, peas, and a miscellaneous box without a label. All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Last night we had sauteed new pots (got to big to boil), courgettes in butter, steamed climbing beans, and chard! NOt ahd any before, but cooked in in galric and butter and even OH said he wouldn't mind it once a week. (He was nearly sickj when he ate some spinach beet the other week) lol.
There would have been carrots too but I boiled them dry and they burnt while I was on cuddle duty with poorly baby - rats, they looked delish too,and the couple I pinched raw were yummy.

Would be nice to get out in the gardne and see what is for picking!
I have to wrap the paster cast in a plastic bag and every time it stops rianing its started again by the time I get it on! If I leave onthe bag the do keeps tugging at it (I think he thinks I have a ferrret up my trouser leg!) Plaster comes off on Tuesday!
ANYWAY - I digress -
Will report pickings later when I manage to dodge the raindrops!
