Too chuffin' wet to get outside to the garden so I went out and "harvested" two pairs of shoes instead

Loads of alpine strawbs, 5 big strawbs from the greenhouse, and I just couldn't resist any longer and picked the biggest of the pea pods. It wasn't really ready for picking but boy was it nice to taste some home-grown peas for the first time in years and years and years

My first handful of raspberries, a couple of strawberries, even more mange tout - it's growing quicker than I can pick it, but I'm not complaining.

Some baby peas, eaten raw - DELISH - most of the pods are getting too big now to eat as mangetout, but only a few have got actual peas in them, so it was lean pickings today on the pea front!

Also one big pod of broad beans, but not so nice raw - the baby ones are, but the big'uns need cooking methinks.

Took a sprig of my own peppermint to work today and sat drinking fresh peppermint tea in the office - lovely

The only thing I have managed so far is salad leaves, nothing else ready

We are in central scotland, so temp less than where you guys are.
