Yesterday we also harvested broadies for HFW's posh beans on toast and it was indeed yummy! Today I picked peas, romanesco natalino brocolli (weird green spirally things!), mint and dug up some red duke of york spuds to go with the leek and cheddar sausages I got from the Good Food bit of Gardeners World at the NEC today. Yummmmmm!

Peas straight off the plants for breakfast, cold new potato sandwich for lunch, new potatoes, cabbage, peas and baby carrots for tea. Pity I haven't got any tomatoes or cucumber ready yet to go with the lettuce tomorrow.

                        Hello,

Radishes, big courgette....tempted to pull a turnip and pick some peas and have some spuds out but am holding fire.
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

A few strawberries which I ate for breakfast on my cereal, cut and come again lettuce , corriander and the last of the first batch of raddish for a salad at lunch time and some mint for on the lamb steaks and a the first load of mange tout for tea tonight. All fab and loads more to come.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Today we had lettuce and various other spicy salad leaves, potatoes (rocket), mint to put with them and chives to make potato salad with the leftover ones we didn't eat.
And my little boy ate several ripe strawbs although he was very kind and gave his daddy ONE as it was daddy's day, lol.

Peas are looking good - not got any peas in them, though I like the mangetout idea....
