      • last night i fancied spag bol and didn't have any onions or garlic in, so pulled up an onion and a garlic from the garden - both smaller than they could be, but was worth it!

            • Last night I harvested two courgettes - ate them roasted with organic carrots (mine aren't ready yet), pepper, mushrooms, olice oil, rosemary and the chicken rosette from the butcher. Veg was lovely - not so keen on the rosette, too fatty!

This morning I picked some lettuce to go with my lunch. Yum!

              • So far today have had strawberries on my cereal, lettuce, rocket and corriander in my salad and raspberries to follow. Will be having mange tout for tea - that's about all I'm harvesting at the moment but should have lots of cucs, courgettes, toms etc forming so am getting quite excited. Also, French beans are starting to flower and peas will be starting again soon.....

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                              • I just picked my first cuke! Very pleased, am eating it now - lunch had to come early I just couldn't wait.

Yesterday we had peas, spinach beet (note to self do not grow it again as OH nearly gagged and he claims he can eat anything, lol), lettuce. I made that lettuce soup on a thread a while ago and it's yummy so put a load in the freezer.
