Today we have harvested :-
First cucumber
First Broccolli - 2 types
second batch of overwintering garlic (48 bulbs)
another couple of overwintering onions
another lettuce
another 1 lb mange tout
another 1 1/2lb rasps
another 4 courgettes
Will be harvesting the first peas shortly, as the pods are swelling nicely on our first batch, along with hopefully the first toms - we've lots of green ones, just none have yet decided to ripen, and the first peppers! Gonna harvest the rest of the early spuds next week too, as they are flowering well now!Blessings

Even more raspberries and strawberries (making jam tomorrow), rocket, various herbs, a couple of peppers (1 Gypsy and 1 Lipstick), my first chilli (can't remember what variety, think it was cayenne), mange tout and a load of different salad leaves.
Just been down to the greenhouse and the toms are starting to swell nicely, there's about 6 cucumbers forming and loads more peppers (the early sowing seems to be paying dividends) and aubergenes flowering. Hopefully will pick the first courgette next week - it's all very exciting!
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

This week we've had new potatoes, baby courgettes, gooseberries, coriander (in last night's chilli). Yesterday I had a salad with my own toms and radishes (don't really seem to do lettuce). In the week we had our first batch of pesto with our own basil and garlic. Yum! Blackcurrants are also ready for harvesting. Have harvested about 15 bulbs of garlic, which I'm not sure is that good from 1 row, but hey! it's better than nothing!
