          • Offenham Flower of Spring cabbage & curly kale (planted them out a bit early). Nice in a stir fry, with tons of French beans.
Dug up loads of 2nd early spuds too, variety still unknown (label mishap). 3 marrows (was away last week).

            • Oh, and two Inferno chillies (grown outside ... they are further along than the greenhouse ones)

                • Since Sunday absolutely nothing apart from Sungold tomatoes grown in the greenhouse and windfall apples that aren't even ready to use. Day off Monday, took grandchildren out, no time for lottie, Tuesday back to work and it was really hissing down by the time I got home. Today didn't leave work till 7.30, still raining. I'm determined to get there tomorrow and then I guess it will be marrows (AKA courgettes that have been left too long) and beans.

                    • Finally managed to get to the lottie this evening and harvested runner beans, french beans, borlotta beans, swiss chard, onions, courgettes, parsley. Tomatoes from the greenhouse in the back garden - sungold and gardeners delight.

                      • I dug 20kg of Anya salad potatoes.

That was about a fifth of a row, there are two rows, then there are 8 rows of maincrop potatoes to follow (note to self, not so many spuds next year as there are only three of us!)

Also got 3kg of runner beans, last of the broad beans, some french beans, 4kg of beetroot (there are still 2 full rows left!), 5 courgettes and 6 patty pans.

Our first year of patty pans and they are highly recommended - great in salads if cropped small.
