Two cabbages, one white, one red, 2 leeks, a little gem lettuce, 14 cucumbers (most given to other plot holders as although we like cukes, there's only so much one can eat!!)Blessings

harvested the last of the peppers from my poopr pepper plants that survived not being potted on and sadly neglected. got 6 bigguns, still green, couple turning though. and binned the plants, will do better by them next year.
harvested a couple of dozen chillies , then cut the plants back for overwintering.
mustard salad is still going strong in the greenhouse as is the rocket, so cut some of that to go with the ham sandwiches for lunch.
not much left growing now except the salad, so time to plan for next year.
'harvested' 2 gallons of tea wine, and bottled the white grape. well nearly all of itLast edited by BrideXIII; 02-11-2008, 04:51 PM.Vive Le Revolution!!!'Lets just stick it in, and see what happens?'Cigarette FREE since 07-01-09

I read this thread quite a lot - I'm amazed at what people are still picking.
Some days I pick a few rosemary sprigs, or a bit of thyme, marjoram or French tarragon - everything else is gone (and there wasn't much this year anyway). That's it and I'm waiting for the Swiss chard to grow.
It's great actually that so many people are still getting returns from their gardening - I just can't help wishing it was me!My hopes are not always realized but I always hope (Ovid)

1 leek for leek & potato gratin, parsley for the guineagirls (they need their vitamin C). A Romanasque that thinks it's a sprout, but is getting eaten anyway. Half a row of red potatoes that I forgot I'd planted. Not sure if they're Desiree or Rooster, but they look OK.
