My pepper plants are getting quite tall and very bushy and some have peppers on, should I take any of the leaves off

No, but you can pinch the leading shoot out. Sounds like you have already done this if they are bushy.

I was thinking I should pinch the leading shoot out soon as the plants are about 2 foot plus tall now, and there are lots of buds forming - but I can't work out which one to do, there seem to be three! The main stem branches into three after about a foot or so of height and the 3 branches are all the same size, all growing upwards at the same angle... Is this normal? Do I pinch them all out? or??

I'm inclined just to leave them as the plants got scorched some weeks ago (early May when we had a few hot days) and so the lower part of the plant is pretty short of decent leaves anyway. The top is nice and bushy.

      Would appreciate any pointers...

I'd pinch all three out. You want to encourage new shoots which will give more flowers and fruit.

Right - thanks - I'll do that tomorrow!
