  • blight in cornwall

Blight has wrecked all the leaves on potatoes I have to cut and chop back to the stems it is amazing how quick it goes bad from the odd few spots to being coved in it. Other plots are now falling to it. How long can you keepm potatoes in the ground with the cut stems

Leave your spuds in the ground untouched for at least two weeks before you dig them up to check for blight contamination. With a bit of luck you'll get away with it if you cleared the foliage nice and early (and destroy it, don't compost)
