    Does garlic have to have sprouted before you can plant it? I though you could just plant each piece in the ground (or pot) and then it'd sprout/root and each piece would grow a whole garlic. (sorry, I seems to have forgotten the proper names! Is it globe?! *sigh* It's gone 1am so..... lol) Thanks anyway!

    garlic doesnt have to have sprouted to plant. Just put each seperate clove (flat side down) into the ground or pot and it will soon be on its way. I presume that you are asking for later in the year as it probably too early ( or late depending on your point of view) to plant as garlic like a period of cold to help clove up the bulb
