  • garlic from seed

    hi there my garlic flowered about 2 weeks ago and the leaves are dying back so all is ok there but can anyone tell me wether i can use the seed that i have got from the old flower heads to grow more garlic or is it just a waist of time and effort ta tracy

        Hi Tracy

        No idea, but it's worth a shot? I've got 3 garlics going to see [on purpose, I want the bees so am leaving them to flower], and will be planting the seeds once they are ready. I'll also plant proper garlic in november/December but will try these and see, it might take a year or two so I'll put them in the experimental bed.

              thanks great help i really dont think i will bother from seed easier to do it the old fashioned way
