Pretty much all of my onions have bolted, I took off the flowers as soon as I saw them but have missed a few. I was thinking of leaving the last 5 to go to seed with a view to collecting and growing them next year....
Or are these new seeds just as likely to bolt early??

I would imagine that seed taken from a small onion that has bolted prematurely will give you small prematurely bolting onions!
