  • Imperial star FArtichoke question

I have been growing some fartichokes from seed and they appear to be fruiting - they have a little bud right in the centre of the plant - is this right? I thought chokes were supposed to throw up stalks with fruit on them? Has anyone grown these before? What should they look like?

    thanks.

Errmmm ... Imperial Star is a Globe artichoke, isn't it? Its the flower buds that you "eat".

Now, Jerusalem Artichokes, which have tubers underground that you harvest in the Winter, are the FArtichokes ...
