I dug up one of my 'pink fir apple' tater plants, and it yielded but ONE lonely spud! No tiny undeveloped ones that I could see either.
Did I mess up by not watering enough in the early stages, as I've just read that you should do? Or is there still hope for the other plants?
Or is it possible that some beastie has eaten them? The one I dug up was a perfect, undamaged specimen though.
So I'm wondering if it's too late to plant another crop- advice please!
