  • Chilli plant

    Hi,

I'm growing a chilli plant in my kitchen (not sure what!) and was wondering,
am i meant to pinch out the top to let it bush out, or do i just let it grow?
It's currently about 2ft tall, with a fair few flowers, and a couple of chilli's on it.

    I don't - I just let it do it's thang.

I have an Alberto Rocoto in the garage that seems to be doing an impression of a huge spider [lots of wide arms, not much height] but I'm just letting it get on with it. Surely it knows what to do??? As it's quite rare, I can't find any pictures of the plant during growth - lots of the plant fully grown - lots of the fruit but nothing resembling mine.

Great, thanks for those replies. Will leave it to do its own thing.

Why not ask Mats Pettersson on his site, is it his OHs uncles chilli?

Chile pepper database - Alberto's - (Capsicum baccatum)
