Most brassicas should be sown outdoors in seed beds.I assume that's what it means. The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

"sow out"
Just to be sure: that isn't "plant out" is it? In which case "sow" in pots etc. then "plant out" some time later.K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our garden

When I was aboy back in the.......60's you could only buy brassicas loose ie;they were kept in buckets of water. They were grown in the ground then pulled and sold on,none of this growing in modules.
When you planted them they would wilt for a couple of days then they would be fine! The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.
