  • Yikes - I may have overdone it!!

I have just been out to check on my seedlings and it would seem that everyone has come up
I now have 40 each of cauli's, cabbages, early psb and late psb
Not to mention the broad beans that I intend to sow.
I hope I have enough space!!!!!
At least we will be well fed this spring.......
    Tx

Swapsies, swap with others around you or see if the local school would like them (encouraging kids and all that).

I put my extra plants outside the house, labelled and with a 'free plants' sign -they all went by the end of the day
Or you could donate them to a charity sale?

Nice idea Starchild, but everyman and his dog grows veggies here! If they don't have it already it is because they don't want it!!
You should see the looks I get when I say I am growing sweetcorn and parsnips! (animal food here)
Hopefully we will have enough house for another freezer by the spring!!

I live 600m down a dirt track off the end of a no through road - not much passing traffic here

You can extend your season by only planting out a few at a time. Leave the others in the pot or in a seed bed. They will grow slower letting the ones that are planted out romp away.

We call it 'holding them back' in our house.
