Advice please, I didn't realise Calabrese needed picking before the flower heads bloom. Have these been lost or are they still edible? Thanks.

Yep, if any start flowering just chop em off and more edible versions will follow. Although it isn't supposed to be frost hardy my calabrese last year kept producing well into the new year!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Not inediable but certainly not eatable......shoots become hard and stalky the inner part is ok but it's really not worth the hassle.
