Did anyone read the article in the Metro yesterday on the tommelier (hee hee, tomato taster) who said that sea water in the water table can make the tomatoes sweeter?
Am wondering whether to try a very dilute solution on one of my plants...would really need to have 2 growing in eactly the same conditions though and give one the saline solution to test the difference.
I'd love to hear people's tomato growing tips - I generally have a few different kinds all growing together so presumably don't end up with true types when I save the seeds for the next year.
