Just looking for advise really. I have a few things in my garden already planted for winter veggies. 2 green Brussels, 4 purple Brussels, 3 purple cape cauliflowers (if the caterpillars don’t get everything I have listed ), and leeks.

I have put these all in beds along the edges of my garden, and I also have a small raised bed. I plan to plant some more beetroot (just love this roasted with carrots) and maybe some more swede's as my current ones will be ready before the autumn is here, but can anyone else recommend anything else to grow? I am also planning to get some potato's going (I'm just waiting for a new compost bin to be delivered and then I have a dustbin free which I will use).

Broad Beans, Early Peas, Winter Onions all sown/Planted arund October. If you can get some plants from somwhere leeks will over winter too. how about some spring cauli's & cabbage's ?

Then there are the Oriental Greens that I have never grown so can't advise you on.

Thanks for that. I already have about 15 leeks on the go. As for peas / beans I have enough growing at the moment that I think will last me a life time. Long story but I was having a problem germinating my peas / French beans (blue lake, cobra, nomads) earlier this year and was determined to get some going so sowed loads and then they all come up. So I now have 18 cobras growing, 15 nomads, 6 blue lakes and 30 sugar snap peas (I hate to kill them off and throw them in the compost for no good reason). So my freezer will be full of the stuff to last over winter.

I did make a post about garlic and I thought I might give that a go. but just wanted a few extra bits.
