Globe artichokes

Does anybody have any good tips for what to do with Globe artichokes. I ssem to have an abundence of them this year and could do with some clues re recipes , preserving etc.

I'm green with envy!!!!!!!!! I adore artichokes and would give my right arm to be able to grow them!!! As soon as we move to a new house with proper garden, globes are one the first things going in! Lucky lucky you!

Lots of preserving options - chargrilling baby ones and bottling in oil is very nice. I'll rack my brains for more.
