What can i sow??

I need advice on what i can sow soon, or in the next couple of months. Anything and everything that doesn't fit into the ''general'' growing period. i'm well into this veg growing now and i don't want to be stopped in my tracks by autumn and winter coming along. also any personal experiences of said veggies would be good, as i'm new to most. i want to give garlic a go....but anything and everything really.

Overwinter onions, garlic, broadbeans, cabbages, Im sure there are lots of other stuff and someone will advise you and I will pinch some of their ideas too.
