  • potato planter sacks..

I've got 3 of these sacks with a velcro flap to firtle for spuds. Excellent.

Any way, first 2 bags are being harvested over next weeks. I originally bought teh bags because they could be folded away in shed after use, but now am thinking I could use them for another crop. They are about 35l (?), 35cm diameter and 45cm tall. I'd quite like to grow another root crop, what can I follow spuds with that would be happy in the bags?

I have never heard of these sacks, who makes them, can you buy them online?

Can;t find where I ordered them from, but if you google potato planters you should find some. Mine have velcro flaps to getthe spuds out easily though AND they came with 3 varieties of seed potato

Hacknicks do a pack of 3 for £15 (not cheap) but they will last many seasons. Most good GC sell Hacknicks products.
HQ do you have a sheltered area where you could keep your tubs frost free as a good idea would be to plant a couple up with potatoes again for new potatoes at Xmas.
