Hi I think my minipops may be ready... the tassles are white and silky.

Daft question is, how do I get them off the plant? Do I cut them off then peel after? Or peel them off on the plant? I did try this with one and it broke into many pieces, and had earwigs in. Yuk.

    Any thoughts?

With regular size corncobs you remove them from the plant and strip them of their husk on the way to the boiling pan of water in the kitchen. I would think you cut the mini cobs and peel them at your leisure too. Not sure about the earwigs though - wouldn't want them in my house

Will feed em to the chooks! They go mad for them (the earwigs not my corn) lol

I'd cut them off the plant, drop the yucky bits in the compost and take the nice bit home.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
