  • Pepino production

Am growing pepino for the first time this year. Have some in small pots and some in big pots. The ones in the small pots are about 14/16 inches tall with plenty of flowers and a few fruits set on each plant. The ones in the larger pots are about 3ft tall no flowers and no fruit, they just seem to keep growing. Has anyone grown these in the past and found that they do better with restricted root growth.

    Hi
I have one in a large pot and have loads of leaves - but only in the last few days have the tiny flowers appeared. the aim was to over winter it indoors - hopefully I'll get something this year.

Hadn't thought about overwintering was just going to grow as an annual. Have definitely got fruit on the restricted plants and a couple are getting a reasonable size, one almost golfball size. How tall is yours Zanzen 999.

It's about 3 feet tall - but about 4 feet wide.
