Well it must be the veg fairy come to give you some prezzies to make up for other stuff you sowed not growing. Can you send her / him this way when she's / he's finished please?
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.

The neighbours are sneaking into your front garden at night or while you are out and planting seeds in the wrong place to try and spook you out.

you know........ that wouldn't surprise me ..... though one of them wouldn't know a cabbage from a dandelion, and the other is too old to bend down that far now and has a gardener in.

oh we have weird stuff come up all over the place on the allotment - currently a random potato in the middle of the path, a mystery group of parsnips in the area we have earmarked for the woodstore and a huge lump of perpetual spinach right in the middle of our fruit bed. We've no idea how they got there, they just have appeared.

i used to all the time, but i would sleep eat ..... not garden ...... i would get up and eat whole jars of things, like pickled onions, peanut butter, and i even ate a pound of cheese once .... but never known to do anything useful.

well at least i'm not the only one .... mind you could yours be from previous allotment people? where they have had the beds differently and the plants have just decided to grow?? no one has ever grown any veg at all in my garden (i know cos the bloke next door moved in when they were first built and he's a nosey old bugger.)

                                it's very strange though innit.
