  • My first ever cauliflower

I managed to grow a few cauli's for the first time. It went a little pink as I couldn't bring myself to pick it:

    That's beautiful! I'm SO envious!
Did it taste nice and how did you cook it? Or is it still on the mantlepiece being admired?

Thanks Vicky. It became a pot of Cream of Cauliflower and Spinach Soup, the second one was turned into a very cheesy Cauliflower Cheese, yum! The last if them are going to be made into Cauliflower Chutney.

That's fantastic! I wouldn't have appreciated your achievement, but this is also my first year of growing veg and I've failed miserably in the growing of even one small cauliflower. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.

What's your secret? I've never managed caulis (apart from one the size of a 50p, but I don't like to talk about that!)

Wonderful Cauli - I'm with the rest on scoring a 100% failure rate on anything worth eating - well done you!

(lovely puppy, love the shed colour too!)
                    Cheers

That's a magnificent cauli - and you even have a dog to match - wrinkles, bumps, flaps and colour co-ordinated!

                        Well done!
