  • beetroot question

    Im growing some beetroot which is now about the size of large radishes, th thing is all the beetroots seem to be growing on the surface. Is this normal?.
    a good put down line to use !

      I grow the cylindrical variety and more than half their height is always above soil level!
      Won't be long before you'll be eating yours with all this 'fat rain' we're having!!!!

        since I've spaced mine out, they're not really growing... the ones I left all huddled together are like 4/5 inches high, whils tthe other ones, have stayed about 1.5inches high! gutted really!!
