My pepper plants im growing are getting tall but leggy. The question is do i pinch thm out to encourage them to bush out a bit, or leave them alone. The reason behind this is because i have loads of flowers amd no peppers and time is running out weather wise.I have also brought them indoors,

I think you're wise to take your peppers indoors now Butter Fingers. The year is getting on but your peppers could still do it. If you have lots of flowers you will have peppers soon. There's no need to pinch them out.
When did you plant them - if it was late you could try planting in February next year.
I planted my chillies and peppers in March and I'm on my second crop. I picked the first lot green and am leaving this lot to go red.

I think its getting a bit late to pinch out - it will slow them down for a bit, and you may run out of Summer (What Summer )K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our garden

Alice, I'm confused by your "second crop" bit. Mine tend to crop pretty continuously. I too pick the first few green but I don't get a gap in production and the plants have continued to produce flowers and small fruits as the earlier ones have got bigger and cropped. Is this a particular variety you have?

No Alison, not a special type. They do produce chillies and peppers all the time, it's just that I tend to leave them on the plant and just do 2 main pickings. I think they're better when they've ripened on the plant for a while.

Thanks Alice - I'm easily confused, I tend to pick them as I need them but sounds like our plants are doing basically the same.
