The pot of green tomato chutney is merrily bubbling away at the moment and it smells good! I'm using a recipe from this forum.

Been down to the polytunnel tonight and it looks as if all the plants are going to succumb I'm so cross as some the tomatoes are just turning red with lots of green ones still left. It appears we are not the only ones - at least 3 other plotholders have the same problem.

Ah well! look on the bright side - I might never have made green tomato chutney!
