Looking for tasty carrots

I sowed them in March. I ate 6 of them on 18th May

i acheived similar results from mine too

sown direct just after easter, first babies eaten end of may

amsterdam forcing are a nice sweet flavour and a good size carrot too.

Purple Haze is a big hit with us, also like Kinbi, in fact, I do like them all.

Juiciness and sweetness will differ from season to season and also by growing medium and practices, not just variety. And very young carrots are not worth pulling IMHO.

Experiment though as taste is such a personal thing.
