Drying beans or not...

    As for the Borlottis... I just don't think I've got the climate for them - this is the second time I've tried them, and I started them a few weeks earlier this time. If I'm lucky enough to have a polytunnel next year (fingers crossed), I might try them in there.

      If the broad bean pods were black when you picked them, that sounds right to me too - again, leave them in a drafty dry place on newspaper to dry then they will be ready for next year.
