I keep mine in the fridge. What does everyone else do?

(oh, and this year I'm going to buy fresh parsnip seed and see if I can't get some to actually germinate! )

No room in the fridge for non food / drink stuff!

Mine are all kept in a cool part of the house (usually) in an old tin. Have always found that so long as you keep them cool and dry they don't come to any harm. Some have ended up in the shed all winter in the past and still germinated fine.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I keep all mine in the shed in a metal bread tin - it's cool dry and dark.

Um, am now thinking I should move mine from the kitchen cupboard...

I put mine in the fridge during the hot, humid weather (just the little foil packets, in a Lock'n'Lock box with some silica gel), but I've since taken them out as the weather has cooled down. Sinc I don't have a shed, they'll spend the winter in my conservatory where it's cool but frost-free.

            *obvious newbie dur question*

So they keep better somewhere cool then?? Mine are in a plastic box that kicks around the house, currently it's on the sofa, from where I sat and re-organised them into "month of next sowing" the other day... I like organising my seeds, gives me a chance to gloat over all the things I'm going to grow next year
Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.

I keep mine in the porch, which is where my 'potting station' is set up. It's quite cool in there, especially over winter! They should probably be in the fridge over summer, but there just isn't room.
