I grew Valor potatoes this year which are blight resistant and I was impressed.Good yield and flavour.
My spud of choice for next year!!!!The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

My Sarpo Mira and Axona are still in the ground with green tops and no blight.

Both Mira and Axona gave reasonable crops and were in the ground ages after I'd had to pull everything else up. When unearthed some of the Mira spuds had rotted in the ground though.
We did a taste test against 'Remarka' and the Sarpos were not as tasty - but there certainly wasn't enough difference to say that we won't keep growing them.Cheers
