Can anyone advise me the best way to dry out peas, so as I can use them for seed next year?

Drying Peas For Seed

I tend to leave them in the pod till it goes crispy and rattles. I dry them on newspaper on the dining room table - which you can hardly see as we speak! I think drying them in the pod helps because the pod draws moisture out of the seed as it too dries. I've saved peas and beans for some years now and the germination rate is easily as good as the seeds you buy. Best of luck with them.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
